What They're Saying
The Stars of the Show were the DiamondBlade knives. For once, I found something truly new and innovative, not to mention an improvement on everything I have tried before? .I was, and truly am, impressed, probably for the first time in 10 years or so? They are the neatest product to come along in the outdoor field in many a moon. These blades come out of the box razor sharp. They are so sharp they are a little scary.
— Tom Turpin, Guns Magazine
In more than 30 years of hunting wild pigs, I have never seen a knife that could dress more than two pigs without sharpening. However, I used a single Friction Forged knife to skin five hogs without sharpening it. Simply put, that is unparalleled performance.
— Durwood Hollis
DiamondBlade knives will take and keep an edge like nothing else on the market. (Along with the PD1, DiamondBlade sent an elk antler that it had hacked hunks out of, and the edge was not dulled in the least. Try that with your cutlery).
— Field & Stream Magazine Awards selection committee comments
In this age of hype and hoola it is refreshig to get exactly what you pay for - Quality!
— Tom Steck
"6 Elk and 9 Mule Deer w/ Alpha 1 Folder & never touched to sharpen it."
"Even threw it in the dishwasher -texalium handle does just fine."

Mike M of Canyon Lake CA

ALASKA EXPEDITION COMPANY
Almost 30 years ago - before the Alaska reality shows - before DiamondBlade - before Knives of Alaska, Master Big Game Guide Charles and Jody Allen were there, 100 miles from the nearest dirt road in remote S.E. Alaska.  Living in Quonset hut style tents for six months at a time enduring brutal Alaska weather while building Alaska Expedition Co.’s “Driftwood Lodge”.  Our full service hunting and fishing lodge and the northern field-test facility for both Knives of Alaska & DiamondBlade Knives.
KNIVES OF ALASKA
The KOA mission, to build “finest quality outdoorsman’s knives”  eventually led to the development of DiamondBlade’s  patented Friction Forging process that created the finest, sharpest and longest lasting cutting edge of any knife in the world.
Alaska is where we finalize our prototype designs under the most rugged field tests possible, working on the some of the largest game animals in the world.  All Knives of Alaska and DiamondBlade knives are subjected to the toughest field conditions.
