What They're Saying
Do they stay sharp? I recently gutted and skinned a mud-encrusted wild hog in the California hills. The knife felt as sharp as before. In tests, a DiamondBlade severed a 1/2 inch manila rope 300 times and remained keen enough to shave. It then chopped several 2x4's in two---before lopping another section of rope with one swipe!

This is the best folding knife I know of for working on game.
— David Petzal
Your blades are simply amazing. I've skinned 7-8 deer with the first knife of yours that I purchased a few years ago. It's still scary sharp...
— B. Ravnaas
In more than 30 years of hunting wild pigs, I have never seen a knife that could dress more than two pigs without sharpening. However, I used a single Friction Forged knife to skin five hogs without sharpening it. Simply put, that is unparalleled performance.
— Durwood Hollis
it is now possible to own a knife that will outperform any knife ever made previously, with regard to edge holding, toughness and corrosion resistance of the edge.

The KOA mission, to build “finest quality outdoorsman’s knives”  eventually led to the development of DiamondBlade’s  patented Friction Forging process that created the finest, sharpest and longest lasting cutting edge of any knife in the world.
Alaska is where we finalize our prototype designs under the most rugged field tests possible, working on the some of the largest game animals in the world.  All Knives of Alaska and DiamondBlade knives are subjected to the toughest field conditions.
