Charles Allen, along with his wife Jody, have a rich history of hunting and exploring. Their love for the outdoors fueled the pursuit of creating the best knife ever created.
In 1992 they created Knives of Alaska, designing, field-testing and launching new models annually. After making thousands of great knives, they had the idea to infuse diamonds into a blade to make their blades even sharper. Thus, DiamondBlade Knives was born. While they did try the diamonds, they came up with an even better solution…an extreme forging process trademarked and patented as “Friction Forging®.”

DiamondBlade and Knives of Alaska are manufactured in Denison, Texas. The building is a repurposed WWII parachute manufacturing facility. The public is welcome to schedule a tour of how the knives are made (tour appointment required) or visit our factory retail space with no appointment necessary.
