I received my Monarch 1 knife with olive drab handle that I had bought last week; all I can say it is it meets their description on the website! Extremely well made, full attention to detail, EXTREMELY sharp blade. Weighs 4.9 ounces, 8 3/4″ open and 5 1/8″ closed. The knife fits my hand well and I maintain control easily while handling. I am curious to see how the knife sharpness holds up over time after processing and skinning numerous animals over the years; I have no doubt after watching their knife manufacturing process that the knife edge is far superior than any knife that I have ever used.
